About This Scholarship
The KAUST Global Fellowship Program attracts and supports outstanding emerging research leaders from around the world, empowering them to build a path towards a fully independent career in a research-first environment. Global Fellows have full access to world-class research tools, unparalleled facilities, and expertise to realise their research ambitions while addressing global challenges.
What This Scholarship Covers
- Up to $40,000 in dedicated research funding for research proposal
- Yearly living stipend of $75,000

Who Can Apply
- 1 Must have been awarded a Ph.D. degree within four calendar years (for CALL 2027, must have received Ph.D. after January 2023 inclusive)
- 2 Must expect to complete Ph.D. before the start of Fellowship if not yet awarded
- 3 Must be ready to relocate to KAUST to undertake proposed three-year research project
- 4 Must identify at least one (up to three) potential KAUST faculty members whose research aligns with proposed work
- 5 People of all nationalities are welcome to apply
