About This Scholarship
The AGNES-BAYER Science Foundation Research Grant supports doctoral students from sub-Saharan Africa in conducting outstanding research activities such as field experiments, data collection, or laboratory studies. A maximum grant of EUR 7,000 is awarded to successful applicants to strengthen scientific capacity and contribute to regional development.
What This Scholarship Covers
- Maximum grant of EUR 7,000 per successful applicant
Who Can Apply
- 1 Must be a national of a sub-Saharan African country.
- 2 Must be officially registered for a Doctoral degree at a university or tertiary institute in sub-Saharan Africa.
- 3 Must be working in the field of Biodiversity conservation and/or Sustainable Agriculture.
- 4 Must have published at least 1 scientific paper in a non-predatory journal indexed in SCOPUS or Web of Science (WoS).
- 5 Must demonstrate the relevance of the research work to the further development of home countries in sub-Saharan Africa.
