About This Scholarship
The Hansen Leadership Exchange Program is a fully funded summer exchange opportunity in the United States focused on international cooperation, peacemaking, and leadership training. It brings together young scholars from around the world to build long-term friendships and develop practical skills for a more peaceful future.

Who Can Apply
- 1 Must be an upper-division undergraduate with 2 years of college/university or a graduate student.
- 2 Must have a professional interest in international relations, diplomacy, international economic development or related fields.
- 3 Must be between the ages of 20-26 at the start of the program.
- 4 Must have demonstrated leadership potential outside of the classroom in the community, nation or region.
- 5 Non-U.S. students must be from zones of conflict and/or social strife, have an academic adviser verify in writing the candidate’s English proficiency, and possess a valid international passport with a U.S. visa if necessary.
