About This Scholarship
The Chancellor’s International Scholarships is for international students who have been offered a spot at the University of Sussex for a full-time Masters degree starting September 2024 and have demonstrated exceptional academic achievement. The scholarship provides a £5,000 tuition fee reduction for overseas students who are self-financing and meet the minimum grade requirements specific to their country.
What This Scholarship Covers
- Tuition fee reduction (£5,000)
Who Can Apply
- 1 Be classified as 'overseas' for fee purposes
- 2 Be taking up a full-time Masters degree starting September 2026
- 3 Be self-financing
- 4 Have exceptional academic grades (minimum grades vary by country: Brazil 8.5/10 or 4.5/5.0, Chile 5.5-5/8, India at least 70%, Japan GPA 3.5, Mexico 8.5/10 or 85%, Nigeria First Class/CGPA 3.5, Pakistan 4-year Bachelors with minimum 80% or Masters with 70%, Peru 14 or 16/20, Turkey GPA 3.3, USA GPA 3.5)
- 5 Not be applying for a Masters at a university other than University of Sussex
- 6 Not be progressing into the final year of an integrated Masters at Sussex
- 7 Not be studying an online course
- 8 Not already hold another University of Sussex scholarship
- 9 Not be studying excluded courses (Certificates, Diplomas, PGCE, BSMS courses, IDS Early Years Education, Social Work with NHS bursary, online courses, School direct teaching courses, Masters funded by research councils)
