About This Scholarship

The Uganda Public Health Fellowship Program (UPHFP) offers a 2-year Field Epidemiology Track designed to develop skilled public health leadership through learning-by-service, with fellows spending 80% of their time on field projects and 20% in didactic training at UNIPH. Fellows develop competencies in field epidemiology, scientific communication, public health programming, management and leadership while serving priority technical units of the Ministry of Health and affiliated institutions.

Who Can Apply

  • 1 Must hold a Master's degree in Public Health, Health Services Research, Epidemiology, Veterinary Public Health, Nutrition, Environmental Health, Wildlife, or any other health-related discipline
  • 2 Must have 3-7 years of work experience in any health-related field (human, environmental, veterinary, wildlife, etc.)
