About This Scholarship
A one-week intensive training programme (18-22 January 2027) designed for PhD students, early-career researchers and working professionals to develop practical knowledge on applying artificial intelligence to research and policy development. The programme is a collaborative initiative by UNU-MERIT (Maastricht), UNU-EHS (Bonn) and UNU-MACAU, combining lectures, interactive discussions, practical exercises and collaborative research activities.
What This Scholarship Covers
- Bus transportation from Maastricht to Bonn
- Welcome dinner
- Certificate validated by three UNU institutes upon completion
- Access to campus facilities and city tours (optional)
Who Can Apply
- 1 Must be a PhD student, early-career researcher, or working professional
- 2 Must hold a valid passport or ID-card
- 3 Must provide proof of enrolment at or proof of having obtained a master's or bachelor's degree
- 4 Must meet English language requirement (minimum level equivalent to 6.5 IELTS score)
- 5 Specific interest in AI, Digitalisation, Sustainability, Research and Public Policy is beneficial
