About This Scholarship
CorpsAfrica provides Ghanaians the opportunity to serve as volunteers in rural, underserved communities while supporting small-scale, high-impact projects identified by local people. Volunteers complete one month of pre-service training followed by ten months of service, with the opportunity to extend.
What This Scholarship Covers

Who Can Apply
- 1 Be a citizen of Ghana
- 2 Be 21 years of age or older at the time of the start of service
- 3 Possess a university degree or equivalent professional experience
- 4 Be willing and able, physically and emotionally, to serve for the entirety of the service in rural, often remote communities
- 5 Have no record of criminal activity that would demonstrate unsuitability for CorpsAfrica service
- 6 Have no conflict of interest that would interfere with duties and responsibilities as a CorpsAfrica Volunteer
- 7 Understand that volunteerism is an altruistic act, where one offers time, skills, and resources without expectation of financial gain
