About This Scholarship

The Geneva Academy Scholarship is a fully funded Master’s programme (LLM/MAS) in International Humanitarian Law and Human Rights for citizens of non-Western countries. The one-year postgraduate degree provides advanced training in international humanitarian law, human rights law, refugee law, and international criminal law with optional specialization courses.

What This Scholarship Covers

  • Full tuition fees
  • Living expenses in Geneva for ten months

Who Can Apply

  • 1 Must be a citizen of a non-Western country (not from Australia, Canada, New Zealand, United States, or Western Europe)
  • 2 Must possess strong command of English (demonstrated via recognized test, or English is mother tongue, or completed English-taught bachelor's degree)
  • 3 Must hold a bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification
