About This Scholarship
The University of Sheffield offers £3,000 scholarships to overseas fee-paying students commencing postgraduate taught degree programmes in September 2026. The scholarship is awarded automatically as a tuition fee discount with no separate application required, provided students accept their offer by the deadline.
What This Scholarship Covers
- £3,000 tuition fee reduction
- Second year scholarship for 2-year programmes (subject to successful completion of year 1)
Who Can Apply
- 1 Must commence postgraduate taught degree studies at the University of Sheffield in September 2026
- 2 Must be classified as overseas for tuition fee purposes
- 3 Must be self-funded
- 4 Must accept offer from University of Sheffield before 4:00pm (UK time) on Tuesday 7 July 2026
- 5 Must study course in full at the University of Sheffield
- 6 Eligible for full-time and part-time students only
- 7 Not eligible for: Postgraduate Diploma (PGDip), Postgraduate Certificate (PGCert), Erasmus Mundus courses, Crossways courses, online/distance learning students, courses with higher clinical fees, split programmes with partner institutions
- 8 Cannot receive concurrent funding from external sponsors (excluding repayable loans)
- 9 Cannot combine with other University scholarships or discounts unless explicitly stated
