About This Scholarship
The Tsinghua University Scholarship 2027-2028 is a fully funded programme for outstanding international students pursuing master’s and doctoral degrees at Tsinghua University in China. The scholarship covers tuition fees, living allowance, accommodation, and comprehensive medical insurance.

Who Can Apply
- 1 Be a citizen of any country except China
- 2 Be in good mental and physical health
- 3 Be a bachelor's degree holder under the age of 35 for master's programs; or a master's degree holder under the age of 40 for doctoral programs
- 4 Have acquired Chinese proficiency of HSK Level 4 for Chinese-taught programmes (or proof of Chinese-taught degree from previous institution)
- 5 For English-taught programmes: native English speakers from UK, US, Canada, New Zealand, or Australia are exempt from English language test; all others must submit IELTS (6.0 or above) or TOEFL (80 points or above)
- 6 Have been pre-admitted by Tsinghua University and recommended for the scholarship by the pre-admitted school/department
- 7 Have not been offered other scholarships for prospective graduate study at Tsinghua University or nominated as a CGS candidate by another university
- 8 Meet all other requirements of the specific CGS Type programme
