About This Scholarship
The IOM Ethical Migration Journalism Fellowship Programme is a three-month reporting initiative supporting original, accurate, evidence-based journalism about migration in Chiang Rai and northern Thailand. Five fellows will receive a USD 1,000 reporting grant, professional mentorship, editorial guidance, a field visit, and potential publication through IOM platforms.

Who Can Apply
- 1 Must propose an original and feasible story related to migration in Chiang Rai and/or surrounding areas
- 2 Must be able to complete reporting and submit stories by 8 January 2027
- 3 Must be willing to receive and incorporate editorial guidance and mentorship
- 4 Must participate in online orientation and monthly check-ins
- 5 Must participate in field visit in Chiang Rai
