About This Scholarship
Loughborough University offers fully funded PhD scholarships for at-risk scholars whose education and safety have been disrupted by conflict, persecution, displacement, or serious threats. The scholarship covers 100% of tuition fees and provides an annual stipend of £21,805 for up to three years of full-time PhD study.

Who Can Apply
- 1 Must hold an offer (conditional or unconditional) for a PhD programme at Loughborough University
- 2 Must demonstrate exceptional academic achievement relative to circumstances
- 3 Must be considered an at-risk scholar, with circumstances affected by one or more of: living in a region affected by conflict or war, risk of forced displacement, risk of imprisonment/injury/death/persecution, or danger if required to return home
- 4 Must apply for the scholarship after receiving a PhD offer from the University
