About This Scholarship
The Lester B. Pearson International Scholarship is the University of Toronto’s most prestigious award for international students, recognizing outstanding academic achievement, creativity, and leadership potential. The scholarship provides full 4-year funding covering tuition, books, incidental fees, and full residence support for approximately 37 exceptional scholars annually.

Who Can Apply
- 1 Must be an international student requiring a study permit (non-Canadian citizen)
- 2 Must be enrolled in final year of senior secondary school in 2026/2027 or have graduated no earlier than June 2026
- 3 Must begin studies at the University of Toronto in September 2027
- 4 Must be nominated by your high school (schools can nominate one student per year)
- 5 Cannot already be attending post-secondary studies
- 6 Cannot be starting post-secondary studies in January 2027 at U of T or another post-secondary institution
