About This Scholarship

The Research Training Program (RTP) Stipend Scholarship, funded by the Australian Government, offers full financial support for international candidates undertaking research doctorate and research masters degrees at Murdoch University. Scholarships are awarded on academic merit, research experience, and/or potential, covering tuition fees and a stipend for living costs.

What This Scholarship Covers

Who Can Apply

  • 1 Must be an international candidate (non-Australian/New Zealand citizen or permanent resident)
  • 2 Must hold a First Class Honours degree (H1 or H2A equivalent) or a Master's degree with a significant thesis component
  • 3 Must meet Murdoch University HDR (Higher Degree by Research) admission requirements
  • 4 Must be enrolled full-time in an eligible research degree programme
