About This Scholarship

The Farm 2027 Residency is an 8-week fully funded artist residency in Western Australia designed for visual artists to develop site-responsive work engaging with environmental, cultural, and agricultural contexts. The programme provides comprehensive financial support, accommodation, studio facilities, and professional development opportunities within a rural creative ecosystem on Wadandi Country.

What This Scholarship Covers

  • Artist fee of 15,000 AUD for living and project-related costs
  • Accommodation and studio facilities on-site at The Farm Margaret River
  • Coverage of travel costs to and from Margaret River
  • Professional documentation of the residency and work developed
  • Research and practical support, mentoring

Who Can Apply

  • 1 Must be a visual artist with a strong and consistent artistic practice
  • 2 Must demonstrate interest in environmental, ecological, cultural, or agricultural themes
