About This Scholarship
The RIFS Fellows Program is a fully funded international fellowship at the Research Institute for Sustainability in Potsdam, Germany, offering 6 to 12 months of support for fellows from around the world to conduct research and develop innovative ideas advancing sustainability transformations. The program welcomes applicants from diverse backgrounds including science, public administration, private sector, civil society, media, and the arts, with about 10-20 fellows selected annually.

Who Can Apply
- 1 Open to applicants from all countries worldwide
- 2 Scientists with a PhD or equivalent research experience
- 3 Non-academic professionals with 3-5+ years of work experience
- 4 Individuals from media, arts, public policy, private sector, and civil society
- 5 Visionaries with passion for sustainability transformation
- 6 Proposed project must be complementary to RIFS work programme and align with at least two research groups
