About This Scholarship
The African Design Centre Fellowship is a 12-month hands-on residency programme in Kigali, Rwanda, designed to equip emerging African architects and designers with tools, mentorship, and practical experience to lead transformative, community-driven design work across the continent. Fellows will conduct culturally rooted research, engage in community-based projects, and disseminate knowledge while receiving professional mentorship from MASS staff and design leaders.

Who Can Apply
- 1 Must be a national of an African country
- 2 Must be 35 years old or younger
- 3 Must hold a degree in architecture, urban design, landscape architecture, engineering, or a related built-environment field
- 4 Must be willing and able to relocate to Kigali, Rwanda from October 2026 to September 2027
