About This Scholarship
The OCIS Scholarships enable international students to pursue fully funded master’s programmes at the University of Oxford in fields relevant to the Islamic tradition or the Muslim world. The scholarship covers 100% of course fees and a living costs grant of at least £20,780.

Who Can Apply
- 1 Must be ordinarily resident in the United Kingdom and from a Muslim community (with preference given to those from financially disadvantaged households), or a national of and ordinarily resident in one of the eligible countries in Asia and Africa
- 2 Must be applying to start a new full-time master's course at Oxford
- 3 Must intend to return to country of ordinary residence upon course completion
- 4 Must have academic merit
- 5 Must be undertaking study in a field derived from or of relevance to the Islamic tradition, or of relevance and benefit to the Muslim world
- 6 Must have achieved required English language proficiency (TOEFL iBT or IELTS Academic)
- 7 Not eligible for postgraduate certificate, postgraduate diploma, part-time, or non-matriculated courses
- 8 Candidates with deferred offers to start in 2026-27 are not eligible
