About This Scholarship
The Dalai Lama Fellowship Programme offers a one-year interdisciplinary fellowship for emerging changemakers to cultivate leadership practices rooted in awareness, compassion, and integrity. Fellows implement an original field project addressing a local challenge while receiving coaching, curriculum support, and group learning.
What This Scholarship Covers
- Fully funded participation in the fellowship programme

- Entry into the LifeLong Fellows global leadership and learning community
Who Can Apply
- 1 Must be 20-36 years old as of April 1, 2027
- 2 Must have fluency in written and spoken English
- 3 Must have current engagement with or well-articulated plans for a social change project and sustained engagement throughout the fellowship year
- 4 Must have in-depth knowledge of the community and the issue the project seeks to address, preferably with at least one year of previous experience
- 5 Must have an interest in learning and engaging in contemplative practices throughout the year
- 6 Must commit to participating in all dimensions of the program including online platform, coaching, and group calls
- 7 Must attend the virtual Contemplative Leadership Assembly in May 2027
