About This Scholarship
This is a joint two-year Master of Science programme designed to provide postgraduate students with interdisciplinary knowledge on environmental risks and human security. Eligible candidates from developing countries can apply for the DAAD EPOS scholarship to support their studies.

Who Can Apply
- 1 Must possess a first higher education qualification (Bachelor’s degree or equivalent) in Geography or a related/relevant academic field.
- 2 Majority of attended courses must relate to Human Geography and Social Sciences, Science methodology and empirical research methods, and Physical Geography, Geosciences and Environmental Sciences.
- 3 A minimum of 2 years of related professional experience is required for candidates applying for the DAAD EPOS scholarship.
- 4 Current PhD students or PhD holders cannot be considered.
