About This Scholarship
The Saïd Foundation Scholarships support talented individuals from Syria, Jordan, Lebanon, and Palestine to pursue one-year Master’s degrees at UK universities based on academic merit, leadership potential, and demonstrated commitment to social and economic development in their home country. Awards prioritize applicants who present a clear plan to use UK-gained skills and knowledge to drive positive change back home.
What This Scholarship Covers
- Full tuition fees covered
- Allowances (when jointly funded with Chevening)
- Return flights (when jointly funded with Chevening)
Who Can Apply
- 1 Must be a national or permanent resident of Syria, Jordan, Lebanon, or Palestine
- 2 Must be applying for a one-year Master's degree programme
- 3 Must demonstrate academic excellence
- 4 Must show leadership potential
- 5 Must demonstrate how the proposed course will enable contribution to the development of their home country
- 6 Must apply to one or more of the Foundation's partner universities (or provide thorough justification for non-partner university choice)
- 7 Undergraduate and PhD programmes are not eligible
