About This Scholarship
The WTO Young Trade Leaders Program 2026 is an international leadership program that invites young individuals from WTO member countries to understand global trade systems and work with the World Trade Organization. Participants will gain exposure to international trade policy-making, attend training at the WTO Geneva headquarters, and contribute to global trade conversations through content creation and mentorship from WTO experts.

Who Can Apply
- 1 Must be between 18 and 28 years old at the time of application
- 2 Must be a citizen of a WTO member country
- 3 Must have a strong interest in international trade
- 4 Must not be affiliated with the WTO
- 5 Must not have close relatives working with the WTO
- 6 Must have good written and spoken English skills
- 7 Knowledge of a second WTO working language (French or Spanish) is an advantage
- 8 Must show interest in global cooperation and demonstrate respect for diverse perspectives
- 9 Must commit to actively participate in the full one-year program
